With my ever-bloomin’ epic love for textiles and all fiber arts, you would think needle felting would be one of the oldest tricks in my book. Nay, sir… It wasnt until this past Saturday, an evening mind you, that Miss Betsy Johnson (yes, that IS her real name) taught me how to needle felt. She has a rather lovely blog as well, where she posted an entry all about our little wooly musings. I must say, this plum is the first of many felted glories.

Not only was it great to learn something new, it was great to just sit and watch girly movies and make things with such a WONDERFUL and talented artist / person such as Betsy R. Johnson. We even decided to make a granny crafting club. Parks, fiber arts, tea and hot lunch. I am thankful.
